Today I’ve also done a ton of testing with the Tentacle Sync System including both a Track E and Sync. It was fairly easy to merge and pair the two inside the Mobile App. Please note that this product will not always ship with a Product Code for Tentacle Sync Studio. However, the process for a free Code was easy enough. Just install the software, connect the unit to your computer, Select “Get Free Key” Inside Menu, Fill Out Online Tentacle Document, and Enter Generated Product Code from Tentacle Email.
I’ve uploaded a sample of Raw 6k Ungraded. I processed with RX Studio 9 Professional. So the workflow was as follows for sample footage/audio test.
1.) Grouped Media Pool
2.) Imported to Tentacle Sync Studio
3.) Synced Audio
4.) Export XML for FCPX
5.) Modify Framing for Anamorphic 6k
6.) Exported Audio AIFF
7.) RX Studio 9 Pro Clean-Up
8.) Export 32 Bit Float WAV
9.) Import FCPX to Replace Audio as Master
10.) Export (No DaVinci Color Grade RAW R3D)
